Rick has been making saddles for nearly 50 years.

Ericksen Saddlery is located in the heart of Montana's beautiful Madison Valley. This is prime hunting country. Our saddles and all of our associated tack are tested under actual hunting and trail riding conditions. 

We ride and use all of our products, and are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve them. 

All products are made, one at a time, by hand, with attention to detail.

Ericksen's Saddlery was founded in Ennis MT, in 1988 under the name Steppin' Out Boot Repair and specialized, as the name suggests, in the repair of boots and shoes. The intent from the beginning was to build saddles full time but man's timing and God's timing don't always align. More to come on this...
